F.A.Q

Is it really only lagers?

Little Lager will exclusively feature beer styles that are typically cold fermented (lagered): Helles, Pilsner, Baltic Porter or styles that are “lager adjacent”: Kolsch, California Common, altbier and Cold IPA.

Can I have a little taste?

Unfortunately we do not offer small tastes of any beers on draft before an order is placed. The beers are meant to be poured and enjoyed in full. If samples were poured through our LUKR faucets they would be nothing but foam. While delicious, it will not give you an accurate sample.

All beers selected for Little Lager go through a rigorous 5 panel sensory analysis that covers everything from off-flavor detection to freshness to how true to style the beer is. Every beer selected is going to be really really good so you cant miss!

Do you have food?

We do not offer any food as the building has no space for a kitchen. Feel free to bring in or order anything you’d like to eat. The neighborhood has a lot of great spots! We have some menus you can flip through as well.

Can you accommodate groups?

The way the bar is structured is primarily focused on direct bar seating. We seat 22 people in the building and have 4 sections of 2 top seating. Larger groups are harder to accommodate and we recommend limiting your groups to 3-4 people as some may be left to wait outside or come back later if we hit our bars capacity. We do not reserve seats and if a party is incomplete any available seat will be available for whomever comes in on a first come first serve basis.

Do you offer flights?

We do not offer flights. We offer snyt pours (half pours) if you are unable to commit to the full mug.

Do you allow children?

Little Lager is firmly 21+ we do not have the accommodations or the space to host children in the pub.

Are you dog friendly?

While we love dogs, our space is far too small to accommodate them. Please the pups at home before visiting.

Is a Slow Pour really slow?

Absolutely. It can take up to 6 minutes, from faucet to glass, to receive your next pour. This is a process that brings a beer to a more appropriate drinking temperature and also creates a more stable layer of foam that protects the beers flavor. We recommend ordering your slow pours before you’re done with your current beer.

Are all your pours “slow”?

Nope! We treat the slow pour like a not-so-secret menu item. If you would like you Hladinka (full pour) poured slowly just say the word!

When is last call?

Firmly, last call will be 30 minutes before the bar closes every night.

Little Lager is a unique beer bar that will offer a beer drinking experience unlike any other currently available in St. Louis.

There is a chance that Little Lager may differ from any beer bar that you have visited before. Please read our F.A.Q to know a little more about the experience.

We understand that some of our service standards are not common in the craft beer industry but understand that every decision made is to provide you with an excellent mug of beer.
